By placing an order through our website, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Iteratif

Iteratif is an independent creative business focused on upcycling and giving existing materials and objects a new life.

Each piece is created with care and is often unique. Because of the nature of upcycling, products may differ from one another and may show characteristics resulting from the materials from which they were made.

2. Our products

We create unique pieces using reclaimed, reused, vintage and/or previously existing materials.

Because of the nature of upcycling, each piece may have its own marks, variations, irregularities, signs of previous use, changes in colour or other characteristics resulting from the materials used.

Any such characteristics that are visible in the photographs or described in the product listing are considered part of the item's character and are not considered defects.

We make every effort to accurately represent our products through photographs and descriptions. However, colours may vary slightly depending on the customer's screen and lighting conditions.

Each product listing specifies the relevant dimensions, materials and other important characteristics. Customers are encouraged to review this information carefully before purchasing.

3. Conscious purchasing & final sales

We believe that buying should be a conscious decision.

Our products are created with the intention of giving existing materials a new life and encouraging a more thoughtful approach to consumption. For this reason, all sales are final.

We do not accept returns or exchanges because of a change of mind, personal preference, incorrect choice of size or dimensions, or because the customer no longer wants the item.

Please review the product description, photographs, measurements and materials carefully before placing an order.

This policy does not affect any mandatory rights that apply under Swiss law in the event of a defect or other legal issue.

4. Prices

All prices displayed on our website are stated in Swiss francs (CHF).

We are currently not registered for Swiss VAT. The prices displayed on our website are the final prices payable by the customer, excluding any applicable shipping costs.

Shipping costs are displayed separately before the order is completed.

We reserve the right to correct pricing or description errors that may occur on the website. If an error affects an order that has already been placed, we will contact the customer as soon as possible.

5. Placing an order

Products can be added to the customer's cart through the “Add to Cart” button. Customers can review, modify or remove items from their cart before proceeding to checkout.

At checkout, customers are asked to provide the information necessary to process and deliver their order, including their contact and delivery details, and to select an available payment method.

Before completing the purchase, customers can review their order, including the selected products, quantities, prices, shipping costs and delivery information, and correct any errors where necessary.

The purchase is completed when the customer confirms the order and completes the payment process through the checkout.

After the order has been placed, Wix automatically provides an order confirmation on the website and sends an order confirmation email to the customer. The confirmation includes the relevant order details.

Once an order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled simply because the customer has changed their mind. Please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for our policy regarding final sales.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order in exceptional circumstances, such as an obvious pricing error, an item becoming unavailable, or a technical error affecting the order. If payment has already been made for an order that we cancel, the amount paid for that order will be refunded.

6. Payment

Payment must be made using the payment methods available on our website at the time of purchase.

The purchase price, including any applicable shipping costs, must be paid before the order is shipped unless otherwise agreed.

Payment information is processed through the payment provider selected at checkout. We do not store complete payment card details on our own systems.

7. Shipping & delivery

We currently ship only within Switzerland.

Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance and may vary depending on the destination, carrier and circumstances beyond our control.

Once an order has been handed to the shipping carrier, delays caused by the carrier or other circumstances outside our reasonable control may occur.

The customer is responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address.

If a parcel is returned to us because the delivery address was incorrect or incomplete, additional shipping costs may apply if the customer requests that the order be shipped again.

8. Risk and delivery issues

We take care when preparing and packaging every order.

If an item arrives damaged, broken or with a significant defect that was not described in the product listing, the customer should contact us as soon as possible and preferably within 7 days of delivery, following the procedure described in our Return & Refund Policy.

The 7-day period is intended to help us identify and resolve delivery or damage issues promptly and does not limit any mandatory rights that may apply under Swiss law.

9. Upcycled and previously existing materials

Many of our products are made from materials that have had a previous life.

This may include vintage, second-hand, reclaimed, reused or previously existing fabrics, garments, objects or other materials.

As a result, small imperfections, traces of previous use, differences in texture, colour variations, repairs or other signs of the material's history may be present.

Where relevant, these characteristics will be described or shown in the product listing.

By purchasing an upcycled item, the customer understands and accepts that these characteristics may be part of the nature and appearance of the product.

10. Product care

Where appropriate, care instructions or recommendations are provided in the product listing or with the order.

The customer is responsible for following any care or use instructions provided.

Damage resulting from improper care, misuse, accidents, alterations, modifications or repairs made after delivery may not be considered a product defect.

11. Defects and legal rights

We aim to ensure that every product is accurately described and carefully prepared before shipment.

If a product has a defect that was not disclosed in the product listing, the customer should contact us as soon as possible with a description of the issue and supporting photographs where appropriate.

Any rights relating to defective products are governed by the applicable provisions of Swiss law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict mandatory legal rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

12. Returns and refunds

All sales are final.

We do not accept returns or exchanges due to change of mind, personal preference, incorrect choice of size or dimensions, or because the customer no longer wants the item.

For more information about damaged or defective items and the circumstances in which a refund or other solution may be considered, please refer to our Return & Refund Policy.

Please do not send an item back without contacting us first.

13. Refunds

If a refund is agreed or required under applicable law, it will be processed using the original payment method where reasonably possible.

The timing of the refund may depend on the payment provider or financial institution used for the original payment.

If an order is cancelled by us because of an obvious error, lack of availability or another exceptional circumstance, any amount already paid for that cancelled order will be refunded.

14. Intellectual property

All content on www.iteratif.ch, including photographs, product images, text, logos, graphics, designs and other original materials created for Iteratif, belongs to Iteratif or is used with permission.

This content may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed or used commercially without prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.

15. Website availability and errors

We aim to keep our website accurate, functional and available, but we cannot guarantee that the website will always be available or free from technical errors.

Product information, availability, prices or other website content may occasionally contain errors.

If a significant error affects an order, we will contact the customer and, where appropriate, offer cancellation and a refund.

16. Limitation of responsibility

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including carrier delays, technical failures, interruptions to payment services or other events outside our reasonable control.

This does not exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under Swiss law.

17. Changes to these Terms & Conditions

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website, services or legal requirements.

The version applicable to an order is the version published on our website at the time the order is placed.

The date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms & Conditions were last updated.

18. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swiss law.

Any disputes arising from or in connection with a purchase through our website are subject to the applicable jurisdiction under Swiss law.

Mandatory rights of consumers under applicable law remain unaffected.
