Iteratif began with a simple curiosity: how to give old fabrics and forgotten clothes a new life. The idea first sparked with our founder Marie-Lou Pijnenburg, who as a child loved experimenting with shapes, colors, and textures from clothes that were meant to be given away. It wasn't only about fashion but also playing and being creative.
As this passion grew, so did the awareness of fashion’s wider impact: the waste, the pollution, and the human cost behind fast trends. What started as playful experiments became a vision for doing things differently, honoring materials, and creating with intention.
Today, Iteratif is a collaborative project run with care and curiosity. It’s not about mass production or profit — it’s a space to innovate, learn, and reimagine fashion with purpose. Each fabric carries a story, each piece is an experiment, and every creation is a step toward a more thoughtful way of making and wearing clothes.
